Brent Barrett's Christmas concert couldn't have been better. Great arrangements, wonderful band, packed house, and that VOICE! I've wanted him to be part of the series for years now, and am so thrilled that it turned out so well! He has another one tomorrow (Monday) night at 7pm! You gotta come!

And I put the Christmas tree up! And when I use the word 'up,' it's a bit of an overstatement. It's tiny, but damn cute. I'll take a pix and add it to this thingy. But for now, here's a pix in the very cheerful Birdland dressing room with Brent. And as an homage to one of my favorite blogs, "What's James Wearing?," I'll tell you that I'm awash in Ralph Lauren!
